Hoovers
Vacuum cleaners or Hoovers as the Americans call them, not that they are Americans at all they are United States Citizens and this week they are doing my head in Vacuum cleaners that is, I picked one up at a dump a few years ago on my trip around the north island $2 at the dump just out of KeriKeri, cheap I thought but the thing just wouldn't suck and in the end fell apart, just gave up the ghost, a bit like most of my relationships, some times I wonder if the Citizens aren't a lot like my old vacuum cleaners they tend to make a lot of noise and look great plus the man selling them promises a lot so you sort of think you won't have to work any more after you have one, lately I have been wondering if people think these machines come with a bag that never needs to be emptied, as people (mainly females around here) can't seem to work out that if the hoover stops sucking then shaking it and yelling has little or no affect at all 'It's not a child girls I say' ...
